Skip the Change: Create Change—Round Up at Cub Foods Sept. 11-24

The change we get back from the cashier often gets shoved in a container or lost. We might ‘leave a penny’ for the benefit of someone else, but rarely does change make a difference to our day.
When you’re grocery shopping at Cub Sept. 11-24, take the weight of coins out of your pocket or purse and relieve the weight of hunger on a neighbor in the process.
Cub invites you to round up your purchase during Cub Cares and double your impact with a $100,000 match from Coca Cola – all to fight hunger in our community. What is less than a dollar to you may mean a meal for someone else.
From $0.01 to $0.99, every fraction of a dollar counts in the fight to end hunger. When you round up your grocery purchase amount, this simple gesture adds up—fast. Cub Cares has raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars for Second Harvest Heartland, and they are just now entering their third year of participation in this event.
This initiative takes place during Hunger Awareness Month, a nationwide mobilization effort to get people involved in ending hunger all year long.
Many thanks to Cub for their partnership and support, and thanks to you for rounding up!
