Cause and Effects: Growing Produce Variety, Increasing Choices

In partnership with the five other Feeding America food banks serving Minnesota, 8.5 million pounds of produce was collected from more than 50 Minnesota growers in 2014. The growth in pounds is important, but we are proud to also be offering more of a variety of produce. Since 2011, the variety of produce collected has more than tripled—from 6 crops to more than 20 crops this year.
