Van Keszler has been a monthly donor to Second Harvest Heartland for nine years now, and recently added Second Harvest Heartland to his will.

“I was updating my estate considering who I should include, and as Second Harvest Heartland was already part of my charitable entities, I decided to include it,” said Van.

Keszler is a chef and teacher at Le Cordon Bleu and says that the commitment to giving back was something instilled in him by his parents.

“I like Second Harvest Heartland as it’s a local charity and helps people that are in my neighborhood. Giving is an important responsibility for anyone who has the ability to do so. It makes us all better people and where we live a better place,” said Van.

You can invest in the future of hunger relief, too. Find out more about our Planned Giving program here, or contact Anne Rodenberg for more information at 651.282.0870 or
