Malaya and Tianna are first graders at Hmong International Academy (HIA), in Minneapolis.

Malaya loves playing, bananas, and her best friend, Tianna.

Tianna loves playing, grapes, and her best friend, Malaya.

They both rely on Grab N’ Go breakfast, a school-based meal program that provides a nutritious breakfast for students to eat in the classroom.

Help us make breakfast a regular part of the school day for Malaya and Tianna

Currently, 290,000 Minnesota students participate in the free and reduced-price meal program, but only 160,000 are participating in a breakfast program. Making breakfast a regular part of the school day, just like lunch, gives kids the fuel they need to learn and grow.

Learn more about how we’re helping ensure all Minnesota kids have the nourishment they need to succeed in school and in life.
