Meals for Minds Volunteer Opportunities

1 in 6 kids in our community will not get enough to eat today. Child hunger hampers a young person’s ability to learn and makes a significant impact on his or her physical and emotional development. When you put food into a child’s hands, you’re giving them the energy they need to learn and grow to their best ability.

This is one of the most hands-on opportunities at Second Harvest Heartland! When you volunteer with Meals for Minds, you sort food, set up food stations, provide friendly service and put food directly into the hands of our hungry neighbors. This volunteer opportunity is great for individuals, small groups and/or corporate groups looking to give direct, personal service in a fun, energetic environment.
