Thanks to the Vikings Children’s Fund Child Hunger Program, 30 kids got VIP access to the Vikings Training Camp on Friday, August 7. The kids—participants in the summer meal program out of the ECHO Food Shelf in Mankato—got to view the Vikings practice, play in the Kids Zone, enjoy a wholesome lunch and even participate in a volunteer event with retired Vikings player Rufus Bess and employees from UnitedHealthcare to assemble hygiene kits. But perhaps the best part of the day was when Vikings players Brian Robison and Babatunde Aiyegbusi stopped by to sign autographs.

The Vikings Children’s Fund Child Hunger Program provides meals to children in need through a number of powerful efforts.

We’d like to offer a big thanks to the Minnesota Vikings’ leadership for all you do to support hungry kids in our community! See some of the photos from the training camp below.

And thanks to UnitedHealthcare for providing enough hygiene supplies for 1,500 kits which are distributed through food shelves and other programs!
