Help Stamp Out Hunger in the Twin Cities and TCF Bank Will Double Your Gift!

Stamp Out Hunger is the nation's largest single-day food drive.  Last year, letter carriers collected more than 74 million pounds of food for food banks and food shelves across the United States.

This year, letter carriers in the Twin Cities hope to collect enough to provide one million meals through Second Harvest Heartland and our agency partner programs.
Stamp Out Hunger Steps and Donate
There are three ways you can help Stamp Out Hunger:

  1. Look for a blue bag in your mailbox or from your local Cub Foods, fill it with non-perishable, non-breakable food items at your mailbox for letter carriers to pick up on Saturday, May 10.

  2. Make a matched donation online.  Now through May 14, 2014, TCF Bank will match your online donation  $1 for $1 up to a total match of $25,000.

  3. Volunteer. To help make this day a success, we need assistance from hundreds of volunteers to help at our Cub Foods drop-off locations in the Twin Cities east and west metro areas. Volunteers will receive food donations and load them onto trucks.

Locally, the drive wouldn’t be possible without our partners the National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 9, Minneapolis and Branch 28, St. Paul; TCF Bank; Cub Foods; KARE 11; Minnesota Transport Services Association (MTSA) and partners; and WCCO Radio.
