Meals that Matter

Today, 1 in 5 Minnesota households can’t afford the food they need. People are struggling to manage rising housing, healthcare, energy and childcare costs. Second Harvest Heartland is here to help, and we need you at the table with us.  

Join us on Hunger Action Day in September 2026 (date TBD) for Meals that Matter. Our community’s most generous restaurants, breweries, and caterers will be donating a portion of sales to support Second Harvest Heartland.  

When you dine or drink at a participating business, your meal matters, providing support for local families facing hunger. Invite your friends, family, and coworkers to join you out – or order in – on Hunger Action Day!
