Teaming Up to Distribute Thanksgiving Meals with the Thielen Foundation

On Tuesday, November 18, Minnesotan and football star Adam Thielen and The Thielen Foundation provided 200 complete Thanksgiving meals for families at St. Paul City School. Adam, his wife Caitlin, and their children were on hand to pass out frozen turkeys and boxes filled with holiday side dishes, including green beans, gravy, stuffing, corn bread mix, and mashed potatoes.

Students and families enjoyed the opportunity to meet Adam, get photos and autographs, and even play catch with the pro football player while picking up food.

The Thielen Foundation’s mission is to equip and empower kids to reach their full potential in life. By providing Thanksgiving meals at the St. Paul school, the foundation is helping to ensure kids have the food necessary to learn and grow.

“To be able to have family gather around food and a good home cooked meal, I think that’s extremely important,” said Adam. “We’ve always felt the need to give back.”
