Ask Legislators to Fund Hunger-Relief Before It's Too Late!
Thank you for asking your representatives to prioritize hunger relief this year. Now they need to hear from you again. In recent weeks, the federal government announced more than $1.5 billion in cuts to local food programs that support food banks, food shelves, and farmers across Minnesota. Additional cuts to SNAP benefits would turn a hunger crisis into a catastrophe. State lawmakers can help by providing emergency funding for our state’s food banks and food shelves. As they enter the final weeks of the legislative session and set a two-year budget, make sure they hear from you one more time about the urgent need to fund hunger relief — before it’s too late!
