June 20, 2025 FreshRealm Recalls Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo Products Due to Possible Listeria Contamination

EDITOR’S NOTE: June 18, 2025: FSIS and its public health partners, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), are investigating the outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes linked to this recall. WASHINGTON, June 17, 2025 – FreshRealm establishments in San Clemente, Calif., Montezuma, Ga., and Indianapolis, Ind., are recalling chicken fettuccine alfredo products that may be adulterated with an outbreak strain of Listeria monocytogenes (Lm), the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. June 16, 2025 King Tallow LLC Recalls Beef Tallow Products Produced Without Benefit of Inspection

WASHINGTON, June 13, 2025 – King Tallow LLC, in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, is recalling approximately 353 pounds of beef tallow that was processed, packaged, and labeled without the benefit of federal inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. June 13, 2025 Starway International Group LLC Recalls Ineligible Frozen Siluriformes Fish Ball Products Imported From Vietnam

WASHINGTON, June 12, 2025 - Starway International Group, LLC, in Maspeth, N.Y., is recalling approximately 9,513 pounds of ineligible frozen Siluriformes fish ball products that were produced by an establishment in Vietnam that is not eligible to export Siluriformes fish to the United States, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. June 5, 2025 Springville Meat & Cold Storage Co., Inc., Recalls Beef Jerky/ Beef Snack Stick Products and Voluntarily Inspected Elk, Venison and Buffalo Jerky Products Due to Misbranding and Undeclared Allergens

WASHINGTON, June 3, 2025 - Springville Meat & Cold Storage Co., Inc., Springville, Utah establishment, is recalling approximately 15,388 pounds of heat-treated shelf-stable ready-to-eat (RTE) beef jerky/beef snack stick products and voluntarily inspected elk, venison and buffalo jerky products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. May 28, 2025 Hormel Foods Corporation Recalls Canned Beef Stew Product Due to Possible Foreign Matter Contamination

WASHINGTON, May 28, 2025 – Hormel Foods Corporation, a Tucker, Ga. establishment, is recalling approximately 256,185 pounds of canned beef stew product that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically wood, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.   • Please check all inventories to identify if you have any product affected by recalls.
  • If Second Harvest Heartland has distributed product affected by a recall, your agency will be notified by Partner Services and given instructions.
  • Keep in mind that recalled product could be in your inventory even if you haven’t ordered it from Second Harvest Heartland. Recalled product may have been distributed through miscellaneous food boxes, food rescue, food drives, donations or your other food vendors.
  • If you find recalled product in your inventory, follow the instructions in the recall notice or those provided by Second Harvest Heartland.
