Agency Partners

As an Agency Partner of Second Harvest Heartland, you have access to a host of resources that can support your programming. We are here to support partners through individual consultation, grant opportunities, connections with other partners, and more. We need more than food to make a lasting difference for our neighbors. These resources are meant to support your operations, foster innovation and promote collaboration.

This team of three quickly responds to questions about orders and deliveries or connects you with a staff member who can assist you with other questions.

Second Harvest Heartland has a Community Partner Grant program designated to support partner organizations. In fiscal year 2023 we distributed nearly $1.6M to partners. To receive notifications of future grant opportunities please email grants@2harvest.org.

The communications team at Second Harvest Heartland is always looking to share about your programs and communities. These stories help a variety of audiences understand the important work of direct service hunger relief organizations and can help amplify your organization to your potential donors or volunteers. We also strive to reduce stigma by sharing the stories of people visiting food shelves or meal programs.

The public affairs team at Second Harvest Heartland advocates for hunger relief policies at the state and federal level. They promote policies that provide immediate support for the hunger relief network and those using it as well as policies that address the root causes of hunger.  

Connect with our Grassroots Advocacy Manager, Caleigh Grumbiner, if you would like help setting up a visit with legislators, advocating for a particular issue or have other ideas of how you can get involved.
