Featured partner: Michael Foods, Inc.
Michael Foods strongly believes in giving its employees the opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering during the work day and offering payroll pledging to the organization of their choice.
Each year, Michael Foods’ Minnetonka-based Corporate office holds in-house events to raise funds for a non-profit partner. In 2016, they decided to donate to a food-based charity and chose Second Harvest Heartland as the recipient of the funds. Over $9600 was raised at the company events including a Book Sale, Executive Egg Toss, Product Sale, Department Basket Raffle and Casual for a Cause, which lets employees pay to wear jeans for a day.
Thank you to Michael Food for being a generous community partner!
