Events & Promotions to End Hunger Together
Optional Subtitle Here
Text here telling people that one way to help end hunger is through supporting SHH through events or promotions. Main audience is orgs that want to partner with us, but hoping to keep this text/page vague enough to be relevant to individuals wanting to go to the events/promotions.
Help Us End Hunger Together
Text here about how your involvement can help end hunger in Minnesota. Rest of the page shows opportunities to support SHH through events and promotions in our community. Current page has link to a partnership interest form for companies or groups; should we keep that here or put it as a CTA box later on the page? Or both?
Option 1: Event Tiles
Pros: nice looking layout, links directly to the event pages, shows exact dates of upcoming events
Cons: doesn't give any context on what the event is unless people click on the tile, doesn't give an overview of the main events unless a new event page is created (aka the day after Dish, the gala page would disappear until a new one is created)
Annual Events
Optional subtitle here
Optional text here to describe our annual events. Something about how they're our hosted events to help people get involved in the effort to make hunger history.

Learn MoreOption 2: Callout Blocks
Pros: gives an overview of the main events throughout the year one event at a time
Cons: little more bulk to the page, doesn't interact as seamlessly to the event pages, limited space in the body text to explain more (about 250 characters or 40 words), requires us to potentially create year-round pages for these events

Campaigns
Text here to explain these are shorter-term campaigns in our community for people to learn about SHH and to get involved with our mission to end hunger together. Internal notes:
- We should limit the number of campaigns here to make sure to not overwhelm/overcrowd this space. My initial thought is a maximum of 4.
- Examples below aren't accurate examples of the campaigns that would be highlighted. Just took the content from ongoing promotions to show formatting for now.
Dine for Dinners
Dine4Dinners works to combat hunger in partnership with organizations, such as Second Harvest Heartland, that provide meals for those in need of daily nourishment through dependable, reliable, and sustainable sources. Providing a unique, intimate in-home dining experience, Dine4Dinners inspires clients to give back to those who are faced daily with food insecurity. One quarter of the cost of the dining experience goes to a food charity selected by the client and the donation is made by the client. Since founding in June 2020, Dine4Dinners has delivered several experiences, providing 31,035 meals!
Simeks One Gives One
SIMEK’s is dedicated to providing great food for the greater good - that’s why they’re partnering with Feeding America to provide meals to hungry neighbors in need. One meal will be generously donated to Second Harvest Heartland for each SIMEK’s product purchased at local grocers in our service area.
Reuse and Reward with Lunds & Byerlys
Bring your reusable Lunds & Byerlys bags each time you shop at one of their stores, and you’ll not only reduce our impact on the environment you’ll also help those in need. For every one of these reusable bags used to bag groceries at Lunds & Byerlys stores, the company will make a 5 cent donation to Second Harvest Heartland.
Ongoing Promotions
Text here to highlight these promotions that go for a while. A good way to contribute to hunger-relief efforts year round. Can have as many of these as we want at any time.
