Hunger Fighters: Lindus Construction & News Talk 830 WCCO
Lindus Construction has teamed up with News Talk 830 WCCO to help Minnesota Central Kitchen continue to distribute much-needed prepared meals across our community. From Monday, February 8 through Friday, February 19, Lindus Construction will generously match all donations to Minnesota Central Kitchen, up to $30,000.

St. Paul Winter Carnival Drive-Thru Ice & Snow Sculpture Park
Combining two signature Winter Carnival events - the Ice Carving Competition and the Snow Sculpture Contest - this Drive-Thru Ice & Snow Sculpture Park will take place at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds each day of the Carnival, including a food drive to benefit Second Harvest Heartland.

The Rose Parade’s New Year Celebration
While the annual Rose Parade can’t take place in a traditional sense this year, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses® is reimaging the iconic event through a 2-hour TV entertainment special airing on New Year’s Day at 10 a.m. CST on ABC, NBC, and Hallmark Channel. The Rose Parade’s New Year Celebration will proudly support Feeding America and its network of food banks this year.

With cold weather quickly setting in, the loneliness of COVID isolation, and the distance we all feel from our friends and loved ones during the holidays, TRITA wanted combat the issue of hunger through the new release of their song “Shout.” You can find the official release of “Shout” on TRITA’s Bandcamp, where you can pay-what-you-will to download. TRITA is donating 100% of donations – as well as profits from merch sales - to Second Harvest Heartland to help feed families this holiday season.

Whole Foods One Dime at a Time
Customers who reuse their bags from home to bag their groceries receive a 10-cent per bag refund which they may donate to Second Harvest Heartland. During COVID-19, customers are invited to bring in their own bags, but must bag their groceries themselves to limit exposure for Whole Foods team members. Participating Whole Foods locations supporting Second Harvest Heartland include: Minneapolis, St. Paul, Uptown Minneapolis, Edina, Minnetonka, Woodbury, and Maple Grove.
