Seven Organizations Dedicated to Ending Hunger This Year
At Second Harvest Heartland we know we can end hunger, but it will take our whole community to do so. For every person who faces hunger, there are nine of us who can make a difference, and the ninth annual Hunger Hero awards recognizes seven partners for their extraordinary efforts in helping provide food people need to thrive. This year we’ve added a new award category of Agency Partner—for there is no way families in Minnesota and western Wisconsin would get the food they need without the food shelves, food pantries and meal program partners who make it happen.
Please join us in thanking the 2018 recipients of Second Harvest Heartland's annual Hunger Hero awards:

By providing donations of food, volunteer hours, financial support, innovative thought leadership and helping us build awareness of the issue of hunger; our partners make a transformational impact on our mission to end hunger. These Hunger Heroes are making a difference every day through food and financial donations, volunteer hours, innovative thought leadership and increased awareness. The seven Hunger Heroes of 2018 collectively helped provide 3.8 million meals last year!
