Micah is a seventh grader at Hmong International Academy (HIA), in Minneapolis. He loves video games, hanging out with his friends and breakfast. Micah counts on Grab N’ Go breakfast, a school-based meal program that provides a nutritious breakfast for students to eat in the classroom. He says breakfast puts him in a better mood and keeps him energized all morning long. What’s his favorite Grab N’ Go breakfast item?

“I’m Micah and my favorite Grab N’ Go breakfast is strawberries.”

Help us make breakfast a regular part of the school day for Micah

Currently, 290,000 Minnesota students participate in the free and reduced-price meal program, but only 160,000 are participating in a breakfast program. Making breakfast a regular part of the school day, just like lunch, gives kids the fuel they need to learn and grow.
