Consultant — Community Volunteer
Paula Philippe is an advisory consultant to boards, CEOs, and c-suite executives where she provides expertise on strategy, alignment of organizational capabilities for strategic execution, and board effectiveness. Paula has over 20 years of executive leadership experience in growth strategies, human resources, social responsibility, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Paula most recently worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota where she was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility. She also served as the Chair of the Board for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation.
Paula’s experience spans both health care and financial services industries. Prior experience includes serving as chief human resources officer and president of network operations for Fairview Health Services, chief human resources and communications officer for Marquette Financial Companies, and chief administration officer at RBC Dain Rauscher where she had accountability for human resources, communication, marketing, community affairs, and its foundation.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Phillippe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Industrial Relations degree.
Paula has a history of being active in community organizations. She currently also serves on the following boards: Thrivent Member Network Twin Cities Region, Redeemer Center for Life and Highland Bank. Past board experience includes Klein Bank, Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, the Red Wing Medical Center, the American Heart Association and the Children’s Theatre Company.
