Cargill Texturizers & Specialties — Global Managing Director
Colleen May is the Global Managing Director for Cargill Texturizers and Specialties (CTS). She began her career as a commodity merchant and has held a variety of merchandising and commercial leadership positions in Cargill’s Grain & Oilseeds Supply Chain in North America, Cargill Animal Nutrition, and Cargill Trade & Structured Finance businesses. Colleen also served as the general manager of Cargill’s U.S. biodiesel business. Colleen has held several functional leadership roles, including manager of Cargill’s on-campus recruiting program, Project Team Leader in Cargill Strategy and Development and process design leader for Tartan, Cargill’s global SAP implementation project, while serving as head of Cargill Shareholder Relations. In 2010, Colleen became the Cargill Corn Milling North America food segment leader, before transitioning to her current role.
Colleen graduated from St. Olaf College with a BA degree in Chemistry and Economics. She and her husband have one son and reside in Tonka Bay, Minnesota. Together, they enjoy the outdoors (including all four Minnesota seasons), entertaining with friends, and traveling.
