Sponsor a truck for one year
Our fleet of trucks travel nearly half a million miles a year, picking up food donations and delivering them to our 1,000 agency and program partners across our 59 county service area, including the Twin Cities metro area. We make your partnership visible with co-branded truck wraps.
Pack-A-Thon –July 20, 2013
Second Harvest Heartland's Pack-A-Thon invites the public to organize teams to compete in a twelve hour event to help fill our Golden Valley space with food. Teams pay to participate and are asked to fundraise in support of their volunteer efforts. The event includes entertainment, hospitality, celebrity guests and a fun, family-friendly post-event party. Sponsorship Opportunities Available: $5,000+.
Summer 2013 Childhood Hunger Awareness Campaign
Second Harvest Heartland and the Pioneer Press have created a summer childhood summer hunger awareness campaign to engage the community in the issue, the impact of childhood hunger and how they can help make a difference through engaging in the issue or making a donation to Second Harvest Heartland. The campaign provides a highly visible way for the corporate sponsor to be recognized as a leading supporter in the issue of childhood hunger and partner of Second Harvest Heartland.
Second Harvest Heartland West Room Sponsorship
Second Harvest Heartland is offering room sponsorship opportunities in the new Second Harvest Heartland West building that will support our need for increased capacity of volunteer activities and fresh food donations. Rooms include: Work-rooms where we can now receive donations of bulk food items for repackaging safely and the Warehouse which serves multiple functions including: a large volunteer work space; agency partner shopping where food shelves or other hunger relief organizations can select individual food items; and dock doors for food donation truck deliveries.
