Hunger Summit
The Hunger Summit, held in Minneapolis, MN in December of 2006, sheds light on the nearly invisible problem of hunger in the Heartland. Political, corporate, medical, economic and religious leaders, featured below, shared their expertise on why and how we can use our resources to make ending hunger a reality. The message from the daylong Summit is clear: there are moral, health and economic arguments for ending hunger in the Heartland, concluding that continued hunger is intolerable.
