Target Employees Can Help End Hunger
Nobody should go hungry. Yet, one in 10 people in Minnesota and western Wisconsin struggle with hunger. When you choose Second Harvest Heartland, your support helps us serve our hungry neighbors so they can thrive at work, in the classroom and in their communities.
Last year Target employees donated over $6,100 to Second Harvest Heartland providing 18,300 meals to hungry children, families and seniors in our community.
Some Ways You Can Help
Employee Giving Program. Choose Second Harvest Heartland as your charity of choice when giving through your company’s employee giving program. This is one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to donate to us.
Ask Target's human resources department to automatically deduct funds from your paycheck on a one-time basis or recurring each pay period.
Host a Virtual Drive or Traditional Food & Fund Drive. Engage your corporate team, committee or affinity group and get them involved in hunger relief.
Support Second Harvest Heartland by hosting an online virtual drive. You will have a dedicated donation page where donors “shop” online for food items with a monetary donation. You can also go the traditional route by hosting a traditional drive to collect shelf-stable foods and monetary donations. Visit our food & fund drive page to learn more.
