Host a Food & Fund Drive

Food & Fund Drives have served as a staple for collecting donations for food banks like Second Harvest Heartland for decades.

The need for food continues to grow and we’re working every day to find new, more efficient and effective ways to do more with the food resources in our community to feed our hungry neighbors. This includes tapping into new sources of donated food; including fresh, nutritious produce from an ever-expanding network of growers, food manufacturers and processors.

Our Food & Fund drive program is changing to help support a more sustainable support system for our hungry neighbors. Learn more about how you can make the biggest impact, through your drive with this short video.

Every dollar and every pound of food counts, so whether you choose to host a virtual Food & Fund Drive or you want to go the more traditional route, your drive will help us feed our hungry neighbors in need.

We have to tools below to make it easy.

Two ways to host a Food & Fund Drive

  1. Virtual Food & Fund Drive:Virtual Food and Fund Drive

Our easiest and most efficient drive. Your drive will have a dedicated donation page where donors “shop” online for food items with a monetary donation. Every $1 donated = 3 meals and we can turn $1 into $7 worth of grocery products.

  2. Register for a Virtual Food & Fund Drive

  1. Traditional Food & Fund Drive:Food Drive

Host a more traditional drive collecting shelf-stable foods and monetary donations. 3.6 pounds of food (about 4 cans) = 3 meals.

  2. Register for a Traditional Drive
