Featured partner: Land O'Lakes
Thanks to Land O’Lakes and their partnership with the Minnesota Lynx – this year’s Points for Pounds campaign provided more than 40,000 pounds of nutritious frozen macaroni and cheese to help end hunger in our community. For each point the MN Lynx scored this past regular season, Land O’Lakes committed to making a 10 pound donation of food to Second Harvest Heartland. MN Lynx star guard Lindsay Whalen, MN Lynx staff and Land O’Lakes staff were on hand to celebrate the success of this year’s Points for Pounds campaign and volunteered to help pack 100 boxes for our senior clients!
