Featured partner: Sunrise Banks

SunriseSunrise is more than your traditional bank. The bank’s mission is to be the most innovative bank empowering the underserved to achieve. As an active and responsible corporate citizen that focuses on a triple bottom line – people, planet and prosperity; volunteerism and corporate giving are core practices for Sunrise Banks. Last year, employees volunteered over 8,300 hours in the community. This equates to approximately 42 hours per employee in 2015.

Sunrise allows employees from all around the company the opportunity to volunteer at Second Harvest Heartland during the workday. Sunrise employees enjoy volunteering at Second Harvest Heartland for many reasons: 1) fun and active work, 2) large groups can volunteer together, 3) there are many different tasks, 4) there is an option to volunteer in either Minneapolis or St. Paul, and there’s so many more!
