Kaylee Full Letter

On his final shift before the Thanksgiving holiday, Andrew a production coordinator at our Golden Valley facility was greeted by Kaylee and the donations she collected during her annual neighborhood food drive.

Kaylee shared with Andrew that when she started the drive a couple years ago, it stemmed from realizing her own privilege and also just a lot of extra grocery bags lying around. With a personal letter and sharing an empty grocery bag with her neighbors, Kaylee collected 724 pounds of food and $75.

“It is what the community does that makes my job so rich,” said Andrew when he shared this story. “The community members are our volunteers and our donors, they invest is us and in turn we do the same for them.”

Thank you, Kaylee for your generosity and inspiring the community to join you in giving back.

You can join Kaylee and others like her in the fight to end hunger this holiday season by making a donation or starting your own Food & Fund Drive today!
