Weber Shandwick, a leading global public relations firm, began their partnership with Second Harvest Heartland when Sara Gavin, president of Weber Shandwick North America, joined Second Harvest Heartland’s Board of Directors in 2014. Gavin’s generous support of Second Harvest Heartland demonstrates the value of our board and how each individual board member strengthens our organization.
Last year, Weber Shandwick worked with us on our Child Hunger and Education Forum—a gathering of local thought leaders to address the critical connection between child hunger and educational success. This year, Weber Shandwick is helping Second Harvest Heartland harness the power of communication to do good by translating our new organizational strategic plan into a working communications plan—complete with new key messages.
