Our Food Rescue program is based on the simple concept of delivering unused portions of tasty and nutritious food to people in need. The food, including meat, produce, dairy, bakery and shelf-stable items, is collected from more than 80 Twin Cities area grocery retailers and other donors. Rescued food is available to our member agencies, including meal programs and food shelves.
Last year, more than 2 million pounds of food was saved and distributed.
